Job summary

Moat House Care Home, part of CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED, is looking for an Activities Coordinator to enhance residents’ wellbeing through engaging, person-centred activities. You will plan and deliver a varied programme and collaborate with residents, families and colleagues to promote independence and social interaction.

The role involves delivering activities that are safe, well-documented and tailored to changing resident needs, with alternate weekends required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering activities for older adults.
• Understanding of person-centred care and dignity.
• Strong interpersonal skills with residents, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities.
• Tailor activities to residents' interests and abilities.
• Work with residents, families and staff to encourage participation and social engagement.
• Ensure activities are delivered safely following health and safety guidelines and maintain records.
