Job summary

Watford House Care Home is seeking an Activities Coordinator to deliver engaging, person-centred activities for residents, including those living with dementia. You will plan group and one-to-one activities tailored to each individual's interests and care needs, building strong relationships to support participation.

The role supports a positive, stimulating environment and requires weekend alternation. Training and support are provided for candidates new to care, with an emphasis on teamwork

Qualifications

• A creative, organised and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities
• A genuine interest in supporting older people
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in activities or a similar role is beneficial
• Candidates with transferable skills from hospitality, events, childcare or community work are encouraged to apply
