Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced English Tutor to provide individualised tuition to a learner in Halton.

The role involves delivering engaging 1:1 English tuition, supporting reading, writing and comprehension, and monitoring progress while adapting lessons to the learner's needs. The ideal candidate will have strong English knowledge, teaching experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in English.
• Experience teaching or tutoring children or young people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs desirable.
• Relevant teaching qualification or tutoring experience desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional child-related references.
