Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEND Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 educational support to a learner in Halton.

The tutor will adapt lessons to individual needs and create a positive learning environment where the learner can develop academically and personally, delivering personalised tuition and monitoring progress. This role offers flexible hours and ongoing engagement starting October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Previous experience supporting learners with SEND.
• Patient, flexible and encouraging approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teaching or tutoring experience desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two professional child-related references.
