Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Doncaster is seeking an English Tutor to provide 1:1 support to a Year 7 student in DN14. The role is 4 hours per week, typically scheduled between 9am and 4pm, with pay of £20–£30 per hour.

You will tailor sessions to individual needs, track progress, and help the student build confidence and core literacy skills. QTS is desirable but not essential, DBS via update service preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS (desirable but not essential) or previous experience working with students on a 1:1 basis.
• Proven track record of improving student performance.
• Team Teach qualification (highly desirable, but not required).
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable; training can be provided).
• DBS registered on the update service.

About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and experienced English tutors to provide 1:1 support to students in the Doncaster area. We work with local authorities and councils to arrange these 1:1 tuitions for students currently accessing alternative provision. • DBS registered on the update service
