Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., or BA Hons with QTS).
• Eligible to work in the UK or a UK resident.
• Prior experience working with children is essential.
• Teaching experience in English Language and English Literature required.
• Must provide two professional references covering the last 2 years.
• Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or willing to apply for one.

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an English Teacher to join a dynamic Secondary School in the Wirral area. This role is due to start in January 2026 and can be on a part time basis. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and confident English Teacher to take over the class and deliver high‑quality teaching in English Language and Literature.

Responsibilities of an English Teacher include :

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4 students


• Creating a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning


• Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress regularly


• Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies


• Adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

To be considered for this English Teacher role, you must :

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., or BA Hons with QTS)


• Be eligible to work in the UK or be a UK resident
