Job summary

Marshalls plc is seeking an Engineering Team Manager to lead the site engineering team at Pollington. You will drive production plans safely, efficiently and in line with targets, while partnering with the Engineering Manager to turn strategy into action and improve asset performance.

You will also manage maintenance scheduling, KPI delivery, change initiatives and team development, ensuring robust systems and processes across the site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a medium/large automated manufacturing operation.
• Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications (time served apprenticeship).
• Experience of leading an engineering team.
• IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Experience with CMMS and stock control systems.
• Experience with engineering schedule KPIs.
• Project management and leading change is desirable.
• Knowledge of OEE is advantageous.
• Lean manufacturing techniques (5S, SMED, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Support leadership of site engineering to deliver production and engineering plans safely and efficiently.
• Turn engineering strategy into action, driving reliability and asset performance.
• Maintain assets with effective systems, processes and resource management.
• Deliver KPIs aligned with manufacturing performance and business objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement and lead change initiatives.
• Coach and develop team members and deputise for the Engineering Manager.
