Job summary

Marshalls Keele is seeking a Maintenance Manager (Mechanical Lead) to own the site's mechanical discipline, overseeing daily maintenance of heavy plant machinery and driving a shift to a data-driven, preventative approach.

Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will lead 8 craft engineers, ensure compliance with PSSR and machinery safety regulations, and utilise SAP Maintenance Module to guide asset care decisions while delivering cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Time-served mechanical apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3/ONC in Mechanical Engineering.
• HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance in heavy manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own the site's mechanical discipline and lead daily maintenance across heavy plant machinery.
• Manage 8 craft engineers and drive a data-driven preventative maintenance culture.
• Champion mechanical engineering compliance and safety standards (PSSR, machinery safety).
• Utilise CMMS (SAP) to guide asset care decisions and drive cost-effective operations.
