Job summary

Marshalls plc is seeking an Engineering Team Manager at Pollington to lead the site engineering team and deliver production and maintenance plans safely and efficiently. You will drive reliability, asset performance and continuous improvement while aligning with quality, cost and performance targets.

You will coach the team, manage engineering stores and schedules, and deputise for the Engineering Manager as needed to ensure smooth operations and achievement of site KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in medium/large automated manufacturing environments.
• Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications (time served apprenticeship).
• Experience leading an engineering team.
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Experience with CMMS and stock control systems.
• Experience with engineering schedule KPIs.
• Project management and change delivery is desirable.
• Knowledge of OEE is advantageous.
• Lean manufacturing techniques (5S, SMED).

Responsibilities

• Support the leadership of the site engineering team to deliver production and engineering plans safely, efficiently and in line with targets.
• Turn engineering strategy into action by driving reliability and asset performance.
• Champion maintenance systems, processes and resource management to keep operations running smoothly.
• Deliver KPIs aligned with manufacturing performance and business objectives.
• Coach and develop team members and deputise for the Engineering Manager when required.
