Job summary

W Talent Engineering are supporting a market-leading manufacturing business in Cardiff to recruit an Engineering Manager who will take ownership of the site’s engineering and maintenance function. You will lead a small team, ensuring high standards of reliability, performance and compliance.

The successful candidate will be a safety-focused leader, driving continuous improvement, managing budgets, and collaborating with production to minimise downtime and optimise asset availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a process manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance and engineering team with a culture of continuous improvement.
• Champion safety and environmental compliance across the site.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximise asset reliability.
• Plan preventive and predictive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive corrective actions.
