Job summary

Marshalls plc, a leading UK supplier of hard landscaping, is recruiting an Electrical Engineer for its Pollington site. You will ensure the continuous running of the production process by fault finding and maintaining equipment on site, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge, some mechanical experience, and ideally NVQ 3 certification. 18th edition wiring regs and PLC/robotics experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical knowledge with some mechanical experience.
• Time-served in a similar position, ideally NVQ 3 level.
• Apprentice trained and ideally with 18th edition wiring regulations.
• PLC fault finding skills would be advantageous.
• Experience with robots and automated process plant & machinery.
• Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication and machining would be an advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous production by minimizing downtime through fault finding and maintenance on site.
• Conduct reactive and planned maintenance of electrical systems controlling hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to support installation and repairs.
