Job summary

JLL Workplace Management in London seeks a Shift Leader to manage the on-site engineering and fabric services team at Kensington Olympia. You will ensure 100% uptime of critical facilities, deliver PPM and reactive tasks, and supervise subcontractors to maintain high standards.

Reporting to Technical Services & Fabric Supervisor, you will coach staff, conduct appraisals, manage health and safety, and align with client requirements while driving continuous improvement across site operations.

Qualifications

• Approved apprenticeship or relevant Building Services experience.
• Strong communication skills with staff and customers.
• Formal qualification in electrical engineering.
• Experience using Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Strong numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site-based engineering team and manage HR tasks.
• Ensure 100% uptime of facility operations and MEP/Fabric assets.
• Oversee safety, compliance and safe systems of work.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and client teams.
• Maintain high housekeeping and asset documentation.
