Job summary

JLL Workplace Management in London is seeking an Electrical Shift Engineer to deliver high standards of electrical PPM and reactive maintenance in critical facilities, with 100% uptime.

You will operate HV/LV distribution, standby generators, UPS and lighting, perform safety tests, monitor power quality, and coordinate with the client and subcontractors.

Required: 18th Edition IEE, LV/HV experience, formal electrical qualification, and experience with Building Management Systems and CAFM tools.

Qualifications

• Approved electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience in building services.
• Formal electrical engineering qualification.
• Experience with Building Management Systems and monitoring platforms.
• Experience with PAT, testing and electrical compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate HV/LV distribution, generators, UPS, lighting and control systems.
• Maintain electrical building systems and distribution infrastructure.
• Ensure electrical compliance including PAT tests and emergency lighting.
• Monitor power usage and report abnormalities.
• Supervise electrical subcontractors and ensure safe housekeeping.
