Job summary

JLL seeks a Shift Manager to lead the on-site engineering team and ensure seamless 24/7 building operations. The role requires hands-on leadership, real-time response to system alerts, and direct supervision of shift engineers during out-of-hours periods.

You will coordinate safety, compliance, and continuous operation, guiding the team through incidents, maintenance, and handovers while maintaining optimal system availability and client service levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in shift operations or supervisory roles within facilities management or industrial environments.
• Hands-on leadership experience with engineering teams in 24/7 settings.
• Strong knowledge of building management systems and critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-shift leadership and direct supervision of shift engineers.
• Coordinate real-time responses to alarms and outages during shifts.
• Maintain comprehensive shift logs and handovers.
• Ensure safe compliance with RAMS, PPE and safety procedures.
• Monitor and optimize critical system performance during shifts.
• Lead handovers and communication with day teams and management.
• Oversee reactive and preventive maintenance tasks performed by shift engineers.
