Job summary

JLL is seeking a skilled Shift Leader to join our Workplace Management team at a prestigious London Bankside site. You will operate all MEP systems, drive continuous improvement, and provide concise technical reports to support performance and reliability.

As part of the account engineering team, you will backfill as required, lead annual power-downs, and maintain a proactive approach to risk, incident reporting, and safety compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent is required.
• C&G Parts 1 & 2 are preferred.
• 18th Edition IEE wiring/installation knowledge.
• 2391 testing & inspection qualifications.
• IOSH/Health & Safety awareness is expected.
• IPAF and L8 training are advantages.

Responsibilities

• Operate all MEP systems on site and push for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical reports and recommendations to improve performance.
• Coordinate specialist vendors and ensure quality of work.
• Provide engineering shift relief during leave or training.
• Lead annual power-downs and functional switching tasks.
• Support incident reporting and RCA activities.
• Maintain spares inventory and order M&E components as required.
• Complete work orders accurately in the CMMS and ensure SLA.
• Actively participate in site meetings and training.
• Escalate risks and support 24/7 on-call operations.
