Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Shift Leader for our Kensington Olympia site to manage the site-based engineering team and deliver high-standard MEP & Fabric maintenance. You will ensure 100% uptime, lead safety initiatives and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires formally qualified electrical engineering background, 18th Edition, and experience with Building Management Systems, as well as strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with staff and Customers.
• Formal qualification in electrical engineering.
• Experience as an end user of a Building Management Systems.
• Intermediate computer literacy using Windows Office applications.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with experience of report writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and lead the site-based engineering team in delivering the JLL engineering service commitments and manage direct reports.
• Operate facility systems, lead on MEP & Fabric assets and ensure compliance & statutory tasks are completed on time.
• Report on critical systems availability and asset reliability for client reporting.
• Promote Safety First culture and ensure safe working practices across the team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and external contractors to deliver planned/reactive MEP & F works.
