Job summary

JLL in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager to oversee national engineering operations, forecast staffing needs, and create comprehensive schedules to meet KPIs and contractual obligations.

You will manage up to 10 schedulers, balance workload with engineer availability, and drive efficiency using advanced scheduling methods while collaborating with engineering leadership to ensure service delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in scheduling or workforce management.
• Experience creating and managing schedules in engineering/field service or similar.
• Proficiency with workforce management/optimization tools.
• Strong understanding of KPIs, SLAs and contractual requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain schedules across multiple clients and contracts.
• Forecast workload, optimize headcount, and meet KPI targets.
• Lead a team of up to 10 schedulers.
• Monitor real-time adherence and adjust to maintain SLAs.
• Coordinate engineer allocation to meet service levels.
• Generate reports on adherence, productivity and KPIs.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to address scheduling challenges.
• Implement contingency scheduling plans for fluctuations.
