Job summary

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support the delivery of complex engineering and construction activities in a highly regulated environment. You will develop, maintain, and optimise project schedules to align with programme objectives and milestones.

Responsibilities include integrating multiple workstreams, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and delivering regular reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Planner within engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 (essential).
  • Experience in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, oil & gas, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent planning tools).
  • Integrate multiple workstreams into a single, coherent programme.
  • Monitor progress against plan and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, delays, and opportunities, and support mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate planning inputs.
  • Produce reports, dashboards, and forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Ensure planning standards and procedures are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support change control processes and assess schedule impacts.
