Job summary

EDF is seeking an Electrical Lead Planner in the UK to develop and maintain Level 5 electrical construction schedules for a major project. You will produce four-week lookahead plans, align work with longer milestones, and monitor progress to support reporting and decision-making.

The role requires strong planning expertise, BPSS eligibility, and the ability to work across engineering, construction, quality and commissioning teams within a nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• Requires strong planning methodologies and project controls principles.
• BPSS security clearance eligibility is required.
• Experience in large construction or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Proficiency with planning and scheduling tools in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Level 5 electrical construction schedules.
• Produce and update four-week lookahead plans for short-term delivery.
• Align electrical work with 16-week lookahead and milestones.
• Monitor progress and measure installed quantities against plan.
• Provide schedule updates to support reporting and decision-making.
• Integrate engineering, material, access, resources, quality and commissioning into schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, quality and commissioning teams.
• Identify scheduling risks and support mitigation for predictable delivery.
• Produce planned vs actual productivity and quantity tracking reports.
