Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking a Resource Manager for a 37-hour week, with the role based at Farnborough and other locations. The position focuses on the dynamic allocation of resources across engineering disciplines to meet both current and future work demands, ensuring successful delivery and individual development.

The role involves collaboration with Workforce Planning, Project Managers and Team Leads, with onsite presence required 3 days per week and eligibility for SC clearance.

• Experience of managing and allocating resources.

Responsibilities

• Tactical decisions to deploy resources to meet new/changed work requests.
• Identify conflicts in workloads and propose solutions within timescales.
• Implement WFP policies and procedures within the Discipline and lead teams through WFP processes.
• Identify and drive process improvements and toolset enhancements with Senior RM support.
• Analyze constraints and improve practices to boost resource flexibility and productivity.
• Collaborate with RM community to provide a resilient resource planning service.
