Job summary

QinetiQ Group plc is seeking a Resource Manager to optimally allocate resources across engineering disciplines, balancing tactical needs with long-term delivery. The role operates within a Workforce Planning framework and requires coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve capacity constraints.

You will contribute to productivity improvements, support a hybrid work pattern (on-site at multiple facilities), and mentor junior colleagues to strengthen the workforce

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and allocating resources across multiple projects.
• Proven ability to mentor junior team members.
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Experience implementing workforce planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct deployment of resources to meet new and changed work requests.
• Identify workload conflicts and provide solutions.
• Implement WFP policies within the discipline and lead teams through processes.
• Collaborate with RM Community to ensure resilient resource planning.
• Identify improvements to processes and tools to boost productivity.
• Maintain onsite presence and coordinate with multiple facilities.
