Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Amesbury, England, is seeking a Senior Resource Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will lead the dynamic allocation of resources across engineering disciplines to meet tactical and future work demands, balancing productivity with individual well-being.

The role involves managing permanent, part-time and contract staff, coordinating with business development, project delivery and operations, and collaborating across disciplines to support wider business delivery.

Qualifications

• Level 3 education or equivalent experience with typically 3 - 5 yrs further experience working across a multifaceted team
• Direct experience of managing and allocating resources – at least 2 years desirable
• Proven experience of interacting with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders including senior management
• Proven experience of mentoring junior members within a team

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage dynamic allocation of resources to meet tactical and future work demands across engineering disciplines.
• Embed within a Discipline and collaborate across Disciplines to support wider business delivery.
• Manage permanent, part-time and contract staff; respond to requests and changes from business development, project delivery, and operations.
• Direct resource planning decisions to optimize productivity while considering individual wellbeing and skills.
