Dex is partnering with a growing software company in London seeking an Engineering Manager to lead 2-3 cross-functional teams of 12-20 engineers. You will own delivery, quality, and technical strategy while immersion in the codebase during your first month.

The role emphasizes people-first leadership, hiring and coaching, and shaping high-performing teams as the organization scales from ~45 to ~70 engineers this year, with deep technical credibility required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in engineering leadership.
• Proven ability to lead 2+ teams concurrently and hire/coach engineers.
• Strong full-stack background, preferably TypeScript.
• Experience scaling a SaaS org from 30 to 100 engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop 12-20 engineers across 2-3 cross-functional product teams.
• Drive delivery and maintain high engineering quality with team leads and product.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and strategy, understanding codebase.
• Connect engineering initiatives to customer value and commercial outcomes.
• Oversee domains including contract lifecycle management, workflow automation, supplier risk, and the core agentic layer.
