Job summary

Dexory is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to shape and scale the finance function as the business grows internationally. You will own accounting, reporting and controls across UK, EU and US entities and lead a small accounting team reporting to the CFO.

You’ll work closely with the CFO and Finance leadership to provide high-quality financial insight, drive processes, and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, growing tech company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience in senior finance roles within a growing or international business.
• Understanding of financial controls, risk and governance.
• Experience owning/managing financial reporting and month-end processes.
• Experience managing external audits and relationships with auditors/advisors.
• Multi-entity and multi-currency accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of UK/EU VAT; US/Canada tax experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of improving processes, systems, controls and ways of working.
• Experience mentoring finance professionals and leading teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate financial information into business decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting, reporting and financial controls across UK, EU and US entities.
• Lead month-end close, consolidations and statutory reporting.
• Partner with CFO and Finance leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic decisions.
• Build scalable finance processes, policies, systems and controls.
• Lead the annual statutory audit and manage relationships with auditors/advisors.
• Oversee VAT, tax compliance and statutory reporting across jurisdictions.
• Support SOX readiness, investor reporting and financial due diligence.
• Provide technical accounting and reporting expertise to support planning and forecasting.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and visibility.
• Drive automation and systems improvements as the business scales.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounting team.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders.
