Dex is looking for a founding engineer in London to join early and shape the product from architecture to shipping, owning core domains and influencing engineering culture. You will be among the first engineers, building the product alongside founders, with equity that matters.

Expect a fast-paced, multi-hat role where you drive architecture and standards from day one, in a London on-site/hybrid setup. Salary ranges from £90k to £180k plus meaningful equity.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist engineering and a builder's instinct.
• Comfort with ambiguity and an early-stage pace.
• The appetite for the whole problem, not a slice of it.
• Prior founding or early-startup experience — a bonus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Build the product from the ground up with the founders, owning architecture to shipping.
• Own entire domains end-to-end, from architecture through to ship.
• Set engineering culture and standards from day one.
• Wear multiple hats as the week requires and shape what gets built.
