Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Maintenance Lead for a brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the Desford area. The role offers a basic salary circa £63k+ with bonus, 4 on 4 off days and nights (6am-6pm, 6pm-6am), and extensive training and development opportunities in a forward-thinking, international manufacturing environment.

You will manage electrical or mechanical workload, drive improvements, supervise staff, and ensure safety and cost control while improving plant

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ 3 or equivalent in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Strong environmental health and safety awareness required.
• Experience as Engineering Shift Manager or similar in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with maintenance within a manufacturing environment and development/application of PPM activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage assignment of electrical or mechanical workload across the department.
• Lead improvement projects with central project engineering teams.
• Act as deputy to maintenance manager and oversee staff when absent or off site.
• Oversee subcontractor management and safety compliance.
• Identify and eliminate recurring plant issues through engineering improvements.
• Drive improved plant reliability using best practices.
