Synergi Recruitment seeks a Maintenance Team Leader for a Leicester site. You will lead a shift engineering team, perform electrical and mechanical fault finding on automated production equipment, and drive maintenance and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Time-served Engineering Apprenticeship is required.
• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification is required.
• Experience leading engineers in a fast-paced production environment preferred.
• Strong electrical fault-finding experience within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a shift engineering team in a heavy industrial environment.
• Support plant reliability through reactive and planned maintenance.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on automated production equipment.
• Work with PLC-controlled machinery, motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Coordinate activities to maximise uptime and production performance.
• Drive health & safety standards and ensure site procedures are followed.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects.
• Ensure maintenance reports and records are completed accurately.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader, Lead Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, Senior Maintenance Engineer or Shift Engineering Team Leader looking to join a market-leading manufacturer operating a complex, high-volume production plant. You'll lead a team of multi-skilled engineers while remaining hands-on with electrical and mechanical fault finding, breakdown repairs, PPMs, continuous improvement projects, and plant reliability initiatives.

The Role

• Lead and motivate a shift engineering team in a heavy industrial environment.
