Job summary

Schroders are seeking a hands‑on Integration Engineering Lead to set direction and drive delivery across core banking and satellites. You will build the Wealth‑owned integration capability, establish pragmatic engineering standards and remain close enough to delivery to design, build and resolve complex interfaces yourself.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading integration engineering for core banking or similar high‑volume platform.
• Strong hands‑on depth in REST APIs, event‑driven/messaging patterns and data flows.
• Experience integrating SaaS with cloud and legacy systems, including security and governance.

Responsibilities

• Set and deliver the integration engineering direction for core banking and satellites.
• Own the wealth integration layer and end‑to‑end quality of interfaces across platforms.
• Lead design and build of secure APIs, events, data flows and controls.
• Create standards for contracts, models, testing, deployment, observability and support.
• Direct engineers and partners while remaining hands‑on in solution design and delivery.
• Manage transition patterns between legacy and SaaS platforms, minimizing debt.
• Extend capabilities across payments, data, compliance and reporting domains.
