Schroders is building an enterprise Agentic AI Platform and seeks an experienced Platform Engineering Lead to own end‑to‑end delivery. You will guide architecture, security, reliability and observability while growing a high‑caliber team of engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading high‑performing engineering teams that build and operate enterprise platforms.
• Strong hands‑on technical leadership including setting direction and making architecture decisions.
• Demonstrable experience building internal developer platforms or platform products at enterprise scale.
• Strong product mindset, with experience mapping user journeys and improving platform adoption.
• Hands‑on experience with production AI systems, including orchestration, guardrails and observability.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical delivery of the Agentic AI Platform from planning through build, release, operation and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop a team of platform, cloud and AI engineers with clear accountability and engineering excellence.
• Set and communicate the technical vision, engineering strategy, architecture principles and delivery roadmap for the platform.
• Translate business requirements into prioritised platform capabilities and delivery plans.
• Design and deliver a secure, scalable, self‑service platform using AWS Bedrock AgentCore across AWS services.
• Balance simplicity with flexibility for professional and citizen developers, admins and control functions.
• Establish engineering standards for orchestration, memory, context, guardrails and operational support.
