Job summary

Schroders is seeking a Delivery Lead within the Enterprise Technology function to unite delivery streams and raise the bar on delivery standards in London. The role combines coaching, hands-on delivery when needed, and end-to-end accountability for delivery outcomes across the function, including the Superhighway initiative.

This leadership position prioritises coaching, practical delivery expertise and the ability to shape a scalable delivery operating model in a regulated financial services

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading delivery across multiple teams or streams in a technology function.
• Genuine coaching orientation with influence-led leadership.
• Credible hands-on delivery background in planning, facilitation and shipping.
• Strong command of modern delivery practice (Agile and Lean) applied pragmatically.
• Proven ability to manage complexity, ambiguity and cross-team dependencies in large tech estates.
• Experience establishing governance, reporting and delivery transparency for leadership.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with technical and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in enterprise platforms, data platforms or engineering-enablement environments.
• Familiarity with agentic / AI-assisted software development and its governance implications.
• Exposure to regulated financial services delivery and governance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coach delivery teams to raise their planning, prioritisation and execution to a common standard.
• Step into delivery hands-on when teams need unblocking or critical work.
• Provide end-to-end accountability for delivery across Enterprise Technology, consolidating status, risks and progress.
• Contribute to the Superhighway agentic-development programme and adapt delivery practices for an agentic engineering environment.
