Job summary

Schroders is seeking a hands‑on Salesforce Engineer to lead design and development of scalable, secure Salesforce solutions. You will own engineering standards, drive CI/CD maturity, and build robust integrations across platforms to enable joined‑up client journeys.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands‑on Salesforce development experience within a large global financial services organisation.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I as a minimum; higher certifications desirable.
• Strong integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft.
• Proven experience of DevOps and CI/CD tooling with automated testing and release management.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modelling, security, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and hands‑on development of scalable, secure Salesforce solutions.
• Own and champion engineering standards, code quality, and platform integrity.
• Design and build integrations connecting Salesforce with upstream and downstream platforms.
• Drive DevOps maturity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
• Deliver proofs‑of‑value and proofs‑of‑concept to test ideas and justify investment.
• Leverage AI capabilities including Salesforce Einstein to enhance productivity and decisions.
• Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and raise team technical capability.
