Telent's Network Services division is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers the chance to work with a skilled team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth and development in challenging projects.

The Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing proactive service and acting as a bridge between engineering and service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Train staff and customers on products and solutions.
• Assist with Professional Services and Sales opportunities.
• Monitor customer incidents and report on accounts.
• Highlight trends, security threats, and technical bulletins.
• Manage documentation related to customer platforms and services.
• Follow internal processes for tasks, reporting, and changes.
• Support PoC scenarios, Type Approval, and lab testing.
• Create technical documentation and Statements of Work.
• Peer review engineering documentation.
• Assist in pre-staging equipment for projects.
• Participate in customer meetings and reviews.
• Ensure accurate timesheet submissions.
• Maintain relevant certifications and complete expenses timely.
• Adhere to GDPR and security policies.

Cloud Engineer - Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have an interest in Cloud technologies, some Azure knowledge, Linux exposure, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange. We will support your skill development in these areas. You should have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and experience in support environments, with on-premise cloud services experience being a plus.
