North Star Academy Trust invites an Engagement Lead to steer the school engagement team, promoting positive behaviour and developing consistent systems for safe, supportive learning environments.

You will work with staff, external agencies, pupils and families to support learning, social and emotional development, and personalised pupil plans while upholding safeguarding standards and reporting on wellbeing.

Competenze

• Strong understanding of SEMH needs and effective support strategies.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and procedures.

Mansioni

• Supervise and manage the school engagement team.
• Work with SLT to enable students to overcome barriers to learning by identifying problems and providing solutions.
• Record and manage behaviour data for pupils and school-wide.
• Lead on behaviour management strategies using restorative and therapeutic approaches.
• Provide a strong, consistent presence to support engagement and positive relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practice and contribute to staff training.
