Job summary

Amey is seeking a permanent Energy Manager to join the Consulting Advisory team covering Energy Transition & Sustainability. You will deliver technically sound energy management solutions for clients, aligning with their goals and current standards.

Working under the head of energy management, you will lead delivery, manage junior staff, and contribute to bids. The role offers hybrid working and UK-wide opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
• Applies energy management theory to understood situations and problems.
• Takes ownership of deliverables and can supervise juniors.
• Good working knowledge of energy software and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to produce energy management solutions meeting standards and client requirements, supervising juniors as needed.
• Prepare and check deliverables ensuring quality, cost and programme, and oversee junior staff.
• Liaise with client and supplier representatives, attend progress meetings and respond to queries.
• Contribute to bid preparation and the work-winning function.
• Work on site as visiting or full-time temporary role, with limited out-of-hours work when necessary.
