Job summary

Amey is seeking a permanent Energy Manager to join its Consulting Advisory team covering Energy Transition & Sustainability. You will deliver technically sound energy management solutions for client goals, supervise junior staff, and liaise with clients and suppliers while contributing to bids and business development.

The role involves on-site work with hybrid and flexible patterns, with a strong emphasis on professional development and well-being benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent experience.
• Strong application of energy management theory to practical client scenarios.
• Takes ownership of deliverables and can supervise junior staff.
• Good working knowledge of relevant software and analytical tools.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of contractor services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technically sound energy management solutions meeting client requirements.
• Prepare and check deliverables, guiding junior staff and ensuring quality.
• Liaise with client and supplier representatives and participate in progress meetings.
• Contribute to bids and the broader business development function.
• Work on site with possible hybrid arrangements and occasional out-of-hours work.
