Job summary

BYD Europe in London is seeking a field-based After-Sales Technical Support Specialist for residential energy storage products. You will resolve technical issues in Italy, maintain customer relationships, and assist the local team with product problems, training, and spare parts handling.

The role requires >2 years in energy storage, a background in electrical engineering or solar storage, familiarity with home hybrid drives and PCS, and willingness to travel within Italy and nearby countries.

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of relevant experience in residential energy storage or small-scale energy storage.
• Background in solar energy storage or electrical engineering preferred.
• Familiar with home hybrid drives, PCS, batteries and integrated systems.
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to diagnose product failures.
• Knowledge of local residential energy storage regulations.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and occasional trips to nearby countries.

Responsibilities

• Resolve after-sales technical issues for energy storage products in Italy.
• Maintain communication with customers, address feedback and complaints.
• Assist local team in analyzing and solving product quality problems.
• Provide technical training on product use, repair and maintenance.
• Gather market feedback to inform R&D and product strategy.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ship spare parts and handle repairs.
