Job summary

Arcadis, the world-leading design, engineering and consultancy company, is seeking a Risk Professional to join the Energy Networks & Renewables team. You will lead risk management across major projects focusing on cost, schedule and probabilistic analysis to support commercial decisions.

The role spans Northern England and the West Midlands; you will develop risk plans, run QRA analyses, mentor junior staff and help embed robust risk processes across delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Desire to work towards professional certification such as APM Risk Certificate or IRM Diploma.
• Practical experience in risk management for projects/programmes/enterprise levels.
• Experience in regulated environments with a focus on Energy.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to build and interpret risk models.

Responsibilities

• Deliver risk management services to clients in compliance with governance and objectives.
• Undertake day-to-day risk management activities: identify, assess, manage, review and report risks.
• Produce periodic risk reporting including risk exposure changes and contingency drawdown.
• Advise project teams on mitigation and commercial implications.
• Develop, validate and run Quantitative Risk Analysis for cost and schedule.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and build capability.
• Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes and data quality.
