Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Pathway Co-ordinator for Endoscopy to streamline waiting lists and support consultants and teams across the service.

You will be educated to GCSE English standard and have strong IT literacy, with experience across multiple IT applications. The role includes reception duties and adherence to booking policies within a busy Endoscopy environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English at a standard of GCSE/Equivalent.
• IT literacy with experience in a range of IT applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for patients and medical staff for the consultant and team.
• Monitor and select future waiting list patients.
• Understand the 18-week RTT process and Trust Patient Access Policy.
• Input patient information onto IT systems.
• Prepare and print daily waiting lists; arrange appointment dates.
• Ensure notes and results are ready prior to patient episode or admission.
• Liaise with wards and departments; escalate urgent issues to senior manager.
