NEC Software Solutions in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an End User Support specialist to be the single point of contact for NEC employees, providing onsite and remote assistance across the desktop environment.

You will install, diagnose, repair and upgrade hardware, manage the Helpdesk (ISM), support M365 apps, Active Directory, and Intune, and help keep security and productivity at the highest level.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to setup and maintain components and peripheral accessories.
• Software and Hardware Troubleshooting
• Windows 10 & 11 experience
• Knowledge of laptop & desktop hardware (RAM, SSD/HDD)
• Willingness to learn; able to operate with minimal supervision
• Able to manage time effectively, set priorities, schedule calls
• Able to maintain professional demeanour under stress
• Able to operate within customer standard operating procedures
• Self-confidence and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Planning and organising skills
• Team collaboration with technical and non-technical members
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance
• Experience using Active Directory (password resets, account creation)
• Use of Microsoft Intune/Entra
• Laptop imaging & building
• Experience in supporting M365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Aufgaben

• Provide onsite & remote technical support for staff members in the Hemel Hempsteadoffice and the wider business
• Document, track, and monitor all problems on the Helpdesk system (ISM) to ensure a timely resolution
• Maintain and encourage best practice across the business e.g. file sharing, encryption etc.
• Procure, configure, manage, maintain and develop desktop PC's, laptops, peripherals, mobile technology and printers
• Facilitate secure access to the network for remote users
• Providing users with appropriate support and advice
• Keeping up to date with the latest technologies
• Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
