Job summary

Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service is offering a 22-month apprenticeship in the Technical Services team. You will learn to build, configure and repair workstations, laptops, iDevices and printers, under engineer supervision.

You will also patch network equipment and deliver user support across the hospital and wider health community, while working with End User Device Engineers and reporting to the EUC Service Support Manager.

Qualifications

• GCSEs to a good standard, including English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
• Computing qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build and commission new and used workstations, laptops, iDevices and printers under an engineer's supervision.
• Patch network equipment.
• Deliver technical and user support across the hospital and wider health community, including GP practices and community services.
• Work alongside End User Device Engineers.
• Take direction from the EUC Service Support Manager or Team Leader.
