Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated individual to join the Technical Services team as an End User Device Apprentice. The role offers exposure to a wide range of digital services across Nottinghamshire and prepares you for a Level 3 Information Communication Technician course.

You will learn under supervision of experienced engineers, contribute to equipment build/commissioning, and support across multiple sites including GP practices and community services.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or above.
• Computing qualification or equivalent.
• Level 3 Computer Sciences Qualification or Equivalent.
• Microsoft Office applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand the role in more detail via attached job description and person specification.
• Work with End User Device Engineers delivering technical and user support across hospital sites.
• Assist with training as directed by the EUC Service Support Manager/Team Leader.
• Assist in patching of network equipment and general IT duties.
