Job summary

Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government is recruiting an End User Computing Engineer for North Wales. The role focuses on delivering high-quality IT support for end users, including Windows 11 and Office 365, across regional offices from Llandudno Junction.

The post is part of IT Services within the Operational Effectiveness Group and requires proactive problem solving and strong user communication. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, support VIP users, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Experience in providing Windows 11 and Office 365 support to a wide range of users.
• Able to communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical staff.
• Proactive in problem solving and capable of working in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot ICT hardware and perform repairs or replacements as required.
• Responsible for laptop builds, setup and issue resolution.
• Provide iOS device support, including setup and issue resolution.
• Support VIP users including Ministers and senior staff.
• Collaborate with vendors on Print Services and assist end users with print issues.
• Provide onsite support for AV and meeting room tech, including basic troubleshooting.
