Job summary

South East Water is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of a major capital infrastructure project in the UK. You will manage NEC3/NEC4 contracts, coordinate a diverse supply chain, and ensure delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.

You will work under the Senior Project Manager, develop commercial positions, engage stakeholders, and drive risk management and feasibility through to handover, with a strong emphasis on safety and value for customers.

Qualifications

• NEC accreditation required; NEC3/NEC4 ECC experience essential.
• Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects end-to-end.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and financial forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of a single major capital project from initiation to close.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and regulators to maintain project reputation.
• Define scope, schedule and manage the master programme and critical path.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecast costs and ensure delivery within funding.
• Identify and mitigate risks; manage NEC communications, compensation events and change control.
• Lead contract administration under NEC3/NEC4 ECC; ensure compliance and disputes resolution.
• Provide safety-focused leadership and ensure CDM and environmental compliance.
