Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Ocean Import Operations and Pricing Coordinator to join our Heathrow-based team. You will manage end-to-end ocean imports, coordinate with overseas agents and carriers, and support the commercial team with competitive pricing and quotations.

Responsibilities include arranging customs clearance, preparing documentation, monitoring shipments, and maintaining carrier relationships to ensure cost-effective, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ocean import operations and pricing.
• Ability to prepare quotations and tender submissions.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication with carriers, agents, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end ocean import shipments from booking through delivery.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers, warehouses and customers.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to clients.
• Arrange customs clearance and ensure UK import compliance.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation.
• Resolve delays, discrepancies and service issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records in the freight management system.
• Verify supplier invoices and approve operational costs.
• Promote use of Cargowise functions for quotations to support paperless operations.
