Job summary

WR Logistics in Basildon is seeking an Ocean Import Coordinator to manage end-to-end ocean import activities, including customs entries, invoicing and reporting, while maintaining SOPs and KPI targets.

You will work closely with customers and suppliers to ensure timely shipments and accurate costings, supported by the wider team in a busy freight forwarding environment. Strong customer service experience and knowledge of ocean/air/road operations are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding and ocean imports.
• Proven customer service and operational experience.
• Understanding of financials and costings for transport
• Familiarity with SOPs and KPIs in logistics

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end Ocean Import forwarding activities.
• Follow strict SOPs and KPIs to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers.
• Process invoicing, job costing, and milestone updates.
• Prepare internal and customer reports by deadlines.
• Resolve customer and supplier queries promptly.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Support rate reviews with the Operations Manager.
