Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead end-to-end CAPEX projects across multiple operational sites and estates. You will scope needs, tender work, procure contractors, set up sites, conduct inductions, and ensure HSE compliance and timely handover to operations teams.

You will manage budgets up to £1 million per project, work with operations and external partners, and maintain rigorous documentation and risk management. A car allowance and standard benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• BTEC/HND in a relevant discipline
• Experience in Construction or Engineering Project Management
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards (CDM)

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a portfolio of projects up to £1 million each
• Tendering, procurement and site setup for CAPEX projects
• Oversee health and safety audits and CDM compliance
• Coordinate with operations teams and contractors
• Forecast costs and report value of work done (VOWD)
• Handover completed projects with documentation and manuals
