Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to manage end-to-end CAPEX projects across operational sites and estate. Location Coppermills (WTW) with travel to surrounding areas five days a week.

You will lead scoping, tendering, procurement, site setup, health and safety, commissioning and handover to operations, ensuring on-time delivery and value for money while maintaining compliance with Asset Standards and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Formal qualifications encouraged; BTEC/HND in relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of Clean Water Processing and/or Wastewater treatment.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with initiative to deliver high-quality work.
• Understanding of Health and Safety standards, CDM.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a portfolio of MEICA projects valued £100k–£1m per project.
• Oversee multiple live projects with scope for new tenders.
• Develop innovative, cost-effective solutions to operational problems.
• Collaborate with operations teams and contractors to scope and cost solutions.
• Lead health and safety audits and ensure CDM compliance.
• Oversee project programmes, RAMS and CPP documents.
• Oversee commissioning and handover to operations.
