Job summary

Pertemps Thames Water in Lane End is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead Mechanical, Electrical and ICA projects across sites and estate. The role covers scoping, tendering, procurement, site setup, safety checks and handover to operations, with a focus on delivering capital projects safely and on budget.

The successful candidate will manage multiple live projects, ensuring compliance with CDM and industry standards while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and cost control.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering preferred (civil or mechanical).
• Formal qualifications encouraged (BTEC/HND or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Clean Water Processing and/or Wastewater treatment.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a portfolio of Mechanical, Electrical and ICA projects.
• Oversee project scoping, tendering, procurement and site setup.
• Ensure health and safety, CDM compliance and on-site governance.
• Forecast costs and report on project value; handover to operations.
