Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead end-to-end CAPEX projects from scoping to handover across multiple sites. The role is based at Coppermills (WTW) with hybrid working and a 36-hour week, including a £60k salary plus car allowance.

You will manage multidisciplinary projects, ensure CDM compliance, and deliver value while maintaining safety and quality across Thames Water’s estates. Driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• A background in Engineering, preferably Civil or Mechanical.
• Formal qualifications in engineering are encouraged (BTEC/HND).
• Knowledge of Clean Water Processing and/or Wastewater treatment.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and drive results.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Health and Safety standards, CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a portfolio of Mechanical, Electrical and ICA projects end-to-end.
• Scoping, tendering, procurement and on-site delivery with safety in mind.
• Forecasting value of work and reporting on progress (VOWD).
• Oversee project documentation, RAMS, CPP and handover packages.
• Coordinate with operations teams and contractors to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Standards and relevant codes.
