Job summary

Shaftesbury North East is seeking a Female Enabling Support Worker to join our Complex Care Service in Newcastle. The role supports people with complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives, following a person-centred support plan.

You will maintain accurate records, may administer personal care and medication, and potentially cover sleep-in shifts for an extra £60 per sleep-in. A full UK license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience supporting people with complex needs within a supported living environment.
• NVQ/QCF level 2 or a willingness to work towards qualification.
• Person-centred approach and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding support.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and encouragement following the person-centred support plan.
• Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
• May administer personal care and medication.
• Sleep-in shifts may be required, with an additional £60 per sleep in.
